CONTINENTAL MUTUAL FUND

AIMS of Bangladesh Limited is the designated Asset Manager & Investment Advisor of the proposed Continental Mutual Fund sponsored by Continental Insurance Company Limited (CICL), a comparatively new listed insurance company in Bangladesh. CICL will contribute a minimum of TK50 million for the first Scheme as the Sponsor. It would be a close-end Scheme and would therefore be listed on the local stock exchanges. The general public will have an opportunity to subscribe during the IPO where there would be a quota for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) and SEC registered Mutual Funds. It is expected to be publicly launched in the financial year of 2009-10.

The Prospectus and Application Forms of the Continental Mutual Fund would be made available as and when consent from the SEC is sought and received.
